I have dealt with Hank, and although he is the ultimate description of a smart, shrewd businessperson, no - he didnt rip me off. He does like a very good deal, and I did learn to dot my I's with him though! I would not borrow money from him. A friend did and she was so unhappy when he wanted to collect his percentage. She said it was toooo high. I agreed but told her you made a deal when the bank wouldnt lend you money. A deal's a deal.
I liken it to the saying "you sell your soul to the devil, you cant be surprised when he comes to collect".

I wonder how can a real estate company rip someone off? (BTW, I don't know Hank Correa, so it's nothing personal, I am just wondering.)

"How can a real estate company rip someone off? How about deceit, not full discloser, incompetance, greed, the list goes on and on! Honestly I find that question rather humorous! Are there regulations yes, but it's well know they arent always followed and sometimes with little or no consequenses to the agent or broker.

While I think it's appropriate for Seeb to ask his question if there are accusations to be make against anyone I prefer it be made it court or privately.
