Hi Noel- check out Beau's question in a string back on 7/3 "Roadrunner Issues". Beau's place is right accross the road from ours.

Noel, as far as I know the only cable is thru Oceanic/RoadRunner, and I'm not sure they are in your neck of the jungle. But if it is, go for it. Cable is waaaay faster than DSL any.
I'm stuck with DSL at my 3rd Ave. home in HPP. At times it crawls, and it's crawling at a pace slightly faster than dial-up! That's just wrong!!! I had DSL on 9th Ave . HPP, but it seemed to go faster...much faster!?

Beachboy, Road Runner is faster, but not very consistent. Besides that Oceanic has very poor
customer service.
It sounds like your DSL is mis provisioned or there is other issues with your circuit. If you want I can assist you.I know some folks in HawTel that may be able to assist.

Hi Noel,
We are on 39th at Laniuma and have DSL. Try going to their web site and putting in the phone number. Also keep your eye out for the service truck and ask the driver.

thanks everyone,
i called hawaii tel and they mentioned that its on a case by case basis....since i don't have an active phone line yet to that lot, they could not ascertain if this was available or even if a neighbors property would be valid to my property...strange response.
thanks for the update, i'll just have to wait until i have regular phone service down the road.
