I have a John Deere riding mower with a sucky transmission. I need to purchase a Tuff Torque 58 or Tuff Torque 62 replacement tranny. Where do I get one in Hilo? Mahalo, Pam

Bullwinkle, this John Deere was originally built with an inadequate transmission. Theo is replacing it when he gets home. I don't know any other details; he looked it all up. It doesn't make any noise; it just gets hot fast and won't go!

Pam,
is the transmission is automatic or stick? It could be it needs gear oil or transmission oil. I don't know much about John Deere, but i do know a little about car.

You can find parts for equipment on eBay too. I got a new motor for my weed whacker on eBay for $10.
Assume the best and ask questions.
