well having had the experience of placing them twice on my vacant lot, i can tell you that it was hard work....getting the plants slept to the job site is no big deal,but i had to also bring water and soil to prep up the area. since my parcel was not yet prepped, it was very difficult to even get into the parcel so i opted for planting around the perimeter and finding smaller holes where the plants can get better established with some topsoil and rocks set up around the base to keep them rigid.....do more than a couple of these starts and you will start sweating bullets....and this is only in the early morning before the sun really gets intense....i would suggest doing this early in the morning and a nice afternoon snorkle as just rewards for work well done.
last, try to mark where the starts are so you can spot them for additional care or when you want to have your parcel finally prepped.....its good to get a head start on these because coconuts do take alot more time to grow than most people expect - even slower than majority of palms.
