HTH article:

I'm sure everything will be ok. The Army says the DU isn't a health hazard. Of course, they did say they never used DU in Hawaii, either...

A fun youtube video on DU:

This is not only a MAJOR health issue, it could be devastating to the tourism and Kona coffee industry if this becomes national news.

Would you like cream, sugar or depleted uranium with your Kona coffee? I'll stick with my Sharkey's coffee thank you very much!

I was worried about my step sons mental health, and physical parts when he was sent to Iraq in June. My worry was he would either return with fewer limbs or PTSD, now those worries are gone.

Family news letter has it that he has been promoted in Iraq, two pay levels, woo hoo!
Lets hope he survives so his wife and children will see the benefits of that.

Peace NOW, please.

Thank you Mister Newman! LOL I do appreciate the other point of view.

If this is the case why deny up front?
I keep seeing in my minds eye the poor service personnel who witnessed the Bikini A-bomb and were told they didn't need protection. I worked with one of these souls whose 3 children were all born with major birth defects.

But truly I do appreciate the truth usually resides in the middle and thank you for the link to the article. Lets hope our land stewards are protecting the land and their for the citizens.

LOL. The IAEA saying DU isn't harmful is like the tobacco companies saying cigarettes aren't addictive. Of course alpha particles can be stopped by a single sheet of paper, but that article doesn't mention that INHALED DU emitting alpha particles are not only highly toxic, but in fact do transmit enough radiation to you continuously to cause real harm. And of course, I love the official-sounding statement at the end... "None of the background radiation they measured comes from DU" ... how do they know?

Now here's a video worth calling propaganda. Watch at your own risk:
