Reality TV...
#1
Lately I have the "opportunity" to stay home and have been checkin' out the reality stuff. I'm amazed at the spectrum of reality shows...anyone else into one or more?

My favorite lately is the Rebel Billionaire...the one with Richard Branson where he takes people up in hot air balloons and makes 'em walk a plank attached between the two...now he's taken them to Africa and they have to be alone out in the bush for an entire night...very scary stuff with the lions making noises and hunting out there.

Which reality show do you like?

P.S. - I know this has nothing to do with Puna, just a little levity.

Hey Carolann, I'll indulge w/ you. Smile Glad to see someone else who enjoys a little "trash". Well I am a big fan of Top Chef (on Bravo) and Big Brother. I also try and catch Gordon Ramsey's "Hell's Kitchen" and some of his other BBC realty shows. I think after a long day at work and school, people need something to take thier mind off the "seriousness" of life. It's get a little old hearing about the war, global warming, coqui frogs, pakalolo, etc. You dig? Anyways, enough of my soapbox, if you get a chance, check out Top Chef, it's really cool and entertaining. TTYL.

Hey Samdooby, I am a big fan of Top Chef. As I am sure you know, the BI, CHef Roy Yamaguchi & Chef Alan Wong played a big part in last season's finale.

I have to admit that Survivor is something I have watched since day one.

We all have our forms of "trash" right, John? LOL!

I have heard about Hell's Kitchen - actually from a friend of Tony's who you wouldn't think would be into it at all!

I love Miami Ink...have a couple of tatts myself but these guys are real artists and it's fun to watch the "element" that wanders into the shop!

Hey Punagirl, yes Chef Roy and Chef Alan did contribute to TC. I have watched all 3 seasons and I am addicted. I love that show.

And as far as survivor, I watched the first 4 or 5 seasons and the latest one that featured my friend Sally Schumann! She was on Survivor Panama. It was so funny to see her there and know that months before we were sitting in a rinky dink bar in Cloquet, MN talking about Survivor and she couldn't say one word about her auditions or them picking her. All of a sudden she was gone and we were like, where'd she go? It was cool to know someone w/ some "fame" She had the craziest and funniest stories when she came back. Anyways, good to see more and more reality buffs on here. LOL

Meerkat Manor! It's my favorite television program, hands down. Animal Planet. Foot tall mammals do cute things and then duke it out in the desert.

Ah, guilty pleasures. I have to confess to a liking for "Project Runway," the fashion designer competition reality show.

Cheers,
