Termites/Pests/Chipper-Mulch

Aloha!

Wife came up with a good question - when clearing our lot we want to run the ironwoods, etc. - thru a chipper/mulcher into a pile to decompose/cook.

What about termites? Is this a big dinner bell for them?

Will this pile attract other pest to/on our property?
