Cat, Jobs here are definately dependant on the study program, AND connections. It sounds like he is working to get proper connections (he is already making a high student pay), so it may just be timing to get the right position.
Many state universities tuitions cost 2-5X UHH instate rate, so at least his loan may not be as high as many starting out in his field...

I love the fact that Scandinavian countries give there students free vouchers to go to school anywhere in the world. So where do a lot of them go... you guessed it.

Scandinavian countries give students vouchers to go to college, anywhere in the world. HPU recruits there. It has 100 Swedes, more than 200 Scandinavians and more than 500 European students.

We used to house coop students at our house. We had a few from Norway & Sweden...
The students serve 2 years of civil service... or pay for school.
