Katie says: I was a full-time Air Force brat living on Oahu from 1959-1963. Bought 2 lots in Eden Roc, Mountain View, in 2005. Living on the land, building our house, since Sept., 2007...house is almost done!!! P.S. For those who are curious, Rumi was a Persian poet, circa 1207-1273. When David and I started out on our Grand Adventure, full-time RV'ing in 2005, trekking to and from the eastern tip of Prince Edward Island, Canada, to Colorado and Arizona, we were inspired to name our RV "Rumi On The Road" or ROTR for short. Hence, "Rumi in Hawaii" meaning we shipped our little home-on-wheels here to live in while we built our house. So, no, my name isn't Rumi, it's Katie (or David, whoever is posting at that moment). Aloha to all Punatics! We hope to meet you at some point, but we also send our best wishes to those who are still dreaming. It only took me 40 years to get back to Hawai'i...so I know about waiting.
