I may be double the price of the conventional steel tanks. Peter at Pacific Gunite, can provide details. There are advantages, e.g., no liner, helps to counteract the acidity of the water,... some have actually also used it as a base for some structures, e.g., a gazebo.

If desired (and for more $$$), you can also have it built underground or partially below ground level.

The main disadvantage is the up front cost.

Thank you,Noel M2.Looks like too expensive.But I am still considering it because of the recent posts on the acid level.Gazebo-wonderful idea for some families.

A couple years ago, I was quoted approx $15K for a 15,000 gallon tank. This figure did NOT include site prep and a couple other details. No idea how this might compare now as Pacific Gunite was extremely busy at the time. I have 3 friends that love their tanks, but it outside my budget.
