Looks like fare war's have started again. Mokulele announced $28.00 one way interisland fares to and from Honolulu for the rest of April...and of course both Hawaiian and Go airlines matched them. And the only major city it doesn't include.... is Hilo. But you can always drive to Kona and get the savings.
Have heard nothing but horror stories on using Mokulele now that GO acquired them.

I hadn't heard about go being associated with Mokulele, so I did a little research. Republic is now running Mokulele, and go is ending its code-share agreement with them.

That is correct, Mokulele used to operate Go!Express but after they became affiliated with Republic, Mesa terminated their agreement. Island Air took over those routes from Mokulele.

To bad Young Brothers doesn't have any competition, they just raised their fares! I'm sure Matson will follow. Higher prices for everyone.
