I'm not sure what you want to know about them.
But This is their "limited lifetime" Guarantee. ------- Today in History: Mrs. Mary Castle, one of the few early missionaries to the "Sandwich Island Mission" who lived into the 20th century, dies at the age of 87. She arrived in Hawai'i in 1843. 1907

Susan - remember something about "Coastal Windows" in your house design - have they fallen out of favor? How does LBL compare to Coastal?
Thanks, Joey

Menehune,
Yes, we were interested in the Coastal, but not within our budget. Susan

My brother is a contractor in Hollywood and has accounts all over the city so when I was buying windows for my home I first went to some wholesale connections he has in L.A.
Anyway, in the end I got the best price, including freight, from J&J Hardware in Hilo. Right across the street from Ken's Panckae House. Go figure.
Assume the best and ask questions.

Rob,
Thanks for the suggestion. However, Jerry at J&J Hardware states they no longer quote windows due to the volatile freight charges. Susan

I'm choking on votile freight charges too. I'm taking a loss on some shipments because of the increases.

I'll say this again, try KBS Building Supply on the Kona side. They were MORE than competitive when I needed windows for a building project (so much so that it was worthwhile to make a few trips over there to get them -- hey, you can only transport so much in a little Mitsubishi).

If you are open to sizes & such, Habitat for Humanity in Kona has a shop where they sell new and used building supplies. They are fairly helpful over the phone 331-8010. All proceeds are used for new housing. Many of these items are overstock or wrong item bought. Some are remodeling removals.
We bought a couple of Coastals... the rest (vinyl awnings) have slight surface on the hardware arms, the Coastals have Stainless.... all are a couple of years old. Just another place for maintenance with little WD40, but something to note.
