john,
ha ha! yes you are right. from what i've seen, wow, the women in asia are amazingly beautiful. i'm in china now, so can only speak for the women i've seen here, but yes, the women are beautiful in many ways. of course, i'm partial to the woman i met, but as an artist and as a man, i can definitely vouch for the beauty of the women here. a very "real," beauty...
on the topic of visiting sanya, yes i've heard of it. i really would like to visit hainan, which is an island off the southern coast of china, about the size of taiwan, on the same line of longitude as hawai'i! i've seen photos and have friends who have visited hainan, and it has beautiful water and beaches, palm trees and even pineapple. hoping to get there for a visit before i leave. no real surf unfortunately, but it's definitely the spot most people visit for a tropical experience, as sadly, the majority of chinese citizens aren't allowed to freely travel outside of china.
i'll email you john in regards to a question i have for you. thanks again for the "support," and reply. [ ]
take care as always!
aloha,
brad

Thanks for the encouragement Ohanamama! We think it will sell pretty fast as it is not a typical property. Currently selling off the livestock. That is kind of sad for us but has to be done. We will be so glad to put these brutal Northern New Mexico winters behind us![ ]

Hi my name is GoofBucket, and I live on the big island of Hawaii [8D]. I am 13 years old are there any other kids on Punaweb? It would be nice if there was a kids forum. I go to H.A.A.S. and it is the best school ever!!! I love all of my teachers (except for one) and I have a lot of great friends there. I know just about everybody in that school except for maybe a few.
My favorite hobby is swimming and circus. I used to swim for the Warrior Aquatic Club (W.A.C.), but I decided to take a break. I am in the H.I.C.C.U.P. Circus and I have been working with them for 5 years.
If any kids have questions about moving to Hawaii you can ask me, but kids only or I won't anwser your questions.

Welcome to PunaWeb GoofBucket!! You are welcome here, but will probably get bored. I would love to see a local kids forum (if it was monitored by some parents) here in Hawaii! Why don't you do one? That would be a great way to meet new kids and compare notes! I have two kids and they're 16 and 18. But they don't live here.
The HICCUP Circus sounds fun, I almost asked you a question! Ooops! [ ]

Aloha Goof -
I'm a kid at heart...does that count?
I'm constantly amazed at the maturity levels of some kids these days. Welcome to PW.
Hey... can adults ask you questions though? Some of us have kids and it would be nice to get a kids view on things sometimes you know. [:o)]

Aloha All,
I've been lurking on Punaweb for months now thought I introduce myself. I'm one of the dreaded retiring [ ] (early I'm 55) baby boomers coming to Puna. I bought a home, with an Ohana, in Hawaiian Beaches a couple of months ago. I'll be moving, with my dog and cat, as soon as I can sell my house, in NoCal, (it could take years, RE nightmare here)... I've been to Puna many times and love it. I was on the very last ATA Hilo to Oakland flight... When I grow up I'd like to explore my creative side on a semi professional level. I have a website of some of my art www.garrettoArt.com (the website needs a lot of work, as does my art). I also played in a geezer rock duo, we played a 60s, 70s and I write semi amusing (at least I think so) originals. We never claimed to be very good but we were and had fun. Looking forward to using my SCUBA certification when I get there too... and hopefully making some new friends...
Maholo,
Garrett
Aloha Garrett,
Checked out your website...and as you stated...it needs work[ ]
Interesting story on that last ATA flight... I guess your lucky in a sense because those that were after that flight got stuck here in Hawaii for a few days trying to figure out what the heck to do.

Aloha,
I am Tee, my husband and I recently returned to Oregon after a glorious week in Maui. He is still active duty in the US Army, and plans on staying past his 20 year mark (next year) and continuing on to the 24 before retiring. We finally made our way to Bend OR, which is where we plan to stay after retirement, but we fell in love with Hawaii (who wouldn't) and since each assignment in recruiting (he is the commander of a large station) is for 2 years, we looked into possible openings in Hawaii. There is an opening coming available at some point on the Big Island and so we are now researching if it is something we want to do for sure. Since it's 2 years, it would give us the opportunity to enjoy the lifestyle without a lifelong commitment and all the things such as moving expenses ect, would be paid for within his relocation. So it seems like a no-brainer to move to the islands for a couple of years. I would love to hear any good, bad or indifferent ideas anyone may have as well as advice on areas to live, school system, ect. We have 2 children (teenagers) still living at home and think it would be an amazing experience for them as well. I have learned it takes 6 months to prepare your dogs for arrival, so any info on that would be helpful as well, as we have 2 labs that we cannot and will not do without! Mahalo and hopefully see you all soon!
