Road paving 22, HPP

Anyone else notice the sign that says they are starting to pave 22nd street and Makuu?

I live on 22nd and Makuu and have not seen any sign or sign of work. Did anyone see it?

I'm not sure if it 22nd or not but right around that area there is a white sigh posted on the Hilo/makai corner but it is something to do about someone wanting to combine two lots if I remember correctly.

There is a white board that states road paving project to begin 2008 April. They have flag the sides for road widening. It's on the corner of Makuu and 22.

Oh and it doesn't look like they are going to paved the dead end side.

Ok...I found the sign. You have to turn onto 22nd from Makuu and go down the road about 100 feet before you see the sign. 22nd between Makuu and Paradise is staked and ready for grading and then paving.

I hope they hired someone professional (at least bonded). The flags that they used to mark the streets are strawberry guava sticks with pink tape around it on top and the white board looks like a garage sale add.

The Fire station is on 22nd right? So I guess of all the roads to pave, that would be the one![]
