Aloha Shuts down everything INCLUDING Cargo
#11
some companies and vendors were interviewed this morning on khon and have said that they will use hawaiian, no mention of go! and freight. the only thing with the freighters is that it takes much longer to get to their destinations. so, the produce will not necessarily be as "fresh." the prices the consumers pay will no doubtedly be affected. love's bakery apparently ships out app. 22k lbs of baked goods to various islands.

also, o'ahu gets lots of fruits and veggies from the big island and maui. such as papaya, pineapple, hamakua mushrooms and tomatoes, etc. so, everyone will be affected.

how many more people are on the unemployement line?!

malia paha o lohe aku

perhaps they will hear

Actually, the article says just the opposite, that NO talks have been done regarding using the military.

Thanks for clarifying... however, what I meant by "talk" is that local media has already "referenced" using the military.

The recent flight refusal fot the AF C-17s, will probably cost the base at least 1 million per month, having to fly to the mainland for it. The C-17 is the safest and quietest aircraft yet!
Need help, call the Sierra club!

Looks like the last division of Aloha airlines (THE CONTRACT SERVICES DIVISION)....may be lost as early as today.
