Thank you for sharing the day with us near, and far. You are beaming (and balancing very well), the leis are absolutely gorgeous, and the setting magnificent. Congratulations.

CONGRATS!!! I am soooo very happy for you. I only wish I could have been there and finally met you in person to tel you. I will however be there at the end of July or begining of August. So hopefully I can meet you and all the puna-webers I met when I started my relocation research 2 years ago!

Noel...I am not positive, but I kinda think that's not the right spelling.....
Seriously though, the tradition of layering the leis was one of the most special of the whole ceremony.... The first I recieved was from my advising professor, the next was from one of my project advisors at the Hilo Bay Watershed Advisory, then the university kukui nut lei I recieved as I got my diploma, then after the ceremony they arrived with the well wishes of so many.... by the end of the day, you really do feel the weight of all of the thoughts, congratulations, and thoughts that have have been layered on you...
I cannot think of a more special way to graduate, and a more special place....
Thank you all for being a part of it.

Wish I could have been there. I was in spirit anyway. You deserve all the honors that were heaped upon you.
