What I mean, is responding to two separate people on the same thread at the same time, instead of having to quote each person individually.

This would actually make for less overall quoting if people were able to learn how to use the feature correctly.

It's basically a way to reply to "Kill two birds with one stone" so to speak.

I can answer both your questions.... in one message by "Multi-quoting". (or I guess you could call it multi-replying)

On the sites I run, I try to teach people to only quote when the post they are replying to is off the page or at least 2 or 3 posts up the thread.
