I heard that we can now get our animals for free fixed in Keaau?

There have been some temporary programs offered at different times in the past that provided the service for free.
I checked another alternative once and at the time the Humane Society was offering a limited number of "vouchers" that you could take to a local vet to get the procedure done for a discounted rate. Not sure if they are still doing that, but it never hurts to call and ask.
We ended up just working with East Hawaii Veterinary Center
http://easthawaiivet.com/default.aspx and they were great with our cats. (All are done now...if anyone needs an adorable outdoor cat, just give me a call!)
