Getting abandoned cars hauled off ?
#1
What's the process? Do you have to do it yourself? I thought the county(hoops to jump through[:0]) had a program to deal with this.

The County has an amnesty program - two car limit I think.
Must be in good enough shape to be removed in one piece, more or less.
Either to be towed or pulled on to a flatbed.
If it's too far gone they won't take it.

(I called them once)

They have a form that I picked up at their office on Railroad Ave across from Yamadas concrete yard.
It maybe on their web site.
They came in two weeks and my neighbors car was gone.
They are locals and didn't have the funds to have it removed so I was glad to help.

I'm wondering if they would haul off a abandoned school bus (no title)! I'll call. Unless someone on the web wants to take it for free. Temporary living shelter or storage, maybe get it started ? If interested call me 982-9451. ps. it has all windows and air in tires!
