PCDP scheduled for approval vote today

The Puna Community Development Plan (PCDP) will receive it's second reading and vote today at county council.

This likely will be a quiet event but will be making history none-the-less.

It is my understanding that opponents to the CDP are lobbying our Mayor to veto the bill. While Mayor Kim is not expected to do any such thing I will suggest to Punatics that we should not fail to pay attention.

Yes it did. 6-3 in favor.... Hilo, of coursee, voted against. Emily switched horses and voted for it.

I went down to listen to the testimony but couldn't stay for the vote.
