Alien Spaceship in Pu'u O'o! Photographic proof!
#1
Every once in awhile, I like to check the Pu'o O'o web cam to see what the old steaming hole is up to --usually nothing. But tonight I had a feeling about things. The lava is like whack-a-mole. If it disappears in one place, it seems to pop up in another. Not at the ocean entry? Check the summit! Not at the summit or the ocean entry -- whoot, dere it is on the pali!

Where it has been very quiet for a long time is Pu'u O'o. Usually when you check the Pu'u O'o webcam, you usually just see steam, haze, some guy's sunglasses that he left behind and that's it. But tonight, I checked in only to see a bright red glow and two perfectly round lights that, wait for it....can only be an alien spaceship.

At first I thought it might be a motorcycle, but remembered that motorcycles only have one light on the front and not two. Thought it could be a two spelunkers with lights on their helmets but then remembered that this is a hellish sulfuric vent that you can't really spelunk in at the present time.

I am pretty sure though that an alien spaceship with special alien metals would find the vent as good place as any to land.....maybe better because who is going to look in a big steamy volcanic hole for aliens? I know I'm not. (I don't think they knew about the webcam). Anyway, I don't want to alarm anyone. So take a look at the screenshot, and let me know what you think it might be. The lights are in the lower right hand corner.

Most likely a couple of hot spots within the crater. I doubt very much aliens are visiting the volcano. I'm curious about the description on the flickr page you linked to. Two lights and they are "perfectly symmetrical"? What definition of symmetrical is being used? There could be a light at the bottom left of the picture and one at the top right. Seems to me that would be symmetrical as well.

HVO will issue an update about Kilauea tomorrow morning as they always do. I suspect the mystery will be over then.

Those are the headlights on that limo you pushed over the edge with Brianna inside, Glen. Don't deny it. You got the idea from that National Geographic special on New Guinea cargo cults and their odd sacrificial habits that I recommended. Somehow the limo got lodged in the vent with the lights on. I'm not complaining, mind you, since the eruption did indeed stop heading this way. I just can't figure out how those lights are still on. Unless . . . Brianna somehow had psychokinetic electrical abilities and is trying to signal to us. What could she be trying to say?

If it is the mother ship please guide them to my large open field. I wanna go home! LOL

I want to be the kind of woman that, when my feet
hit the floor each morning, the devil says

"Oh Crap, She's up!"

I’ve seen this two times before, thanks Glen for the warning I’m getting a ticket out of here. The last thing I want to see is it happen again.

First time I seen those lights was when I was captured by them alien S.O.B.’s and they used me for their sexual pleasure and then robbed me of all my worldly goods and then cast me aside like nothing happened.

The second time I seen those lights was at the alter in my first wives eyes. She used me for her sexual pleasure and robbed me of all my worldly goods then cast me aside like nothing happened.

Men please heed Glen’s warning and beware of those lights.

Jerry -- you know perfectly well that the night Brianna disappeared I left her with a babysitter while I went to the store in Keaau across from the high school. After that, I went to Luquin's and had about fifty passionfruit margaritas. Dancing ensued and I ripped the coconut bra off of some Samoan guy. Neither of us was pleased about that in retrospect. When I got home, Brianna was gone and the babysitter smelled like sulfur.

Lack -- you are hilarious, but it's funny because it is so true! And one thing I learned about the aliens is this: they don't use Astroglide. (You would think they would love everything "astro" but not so!).

Meanwhile, on the pali things are getting WORSE. Please see unretouched photo below where you can see a mysterious diamond shape. As for the lights in Pu'o O'o, they show up in the daytime now. I would suggest that no one go to sleep tonight, especially guys as Lack points out.

Glen those lights got me pretty shook up so I went in this morning to the web cam to see if anything was visible today.

I'm pretty scarred out of my wits right now from what I saw. I managed to grab a screen capture. Check it out:

Andrew,

That is truly frightening. I think we have an instant Puna-web classic on our hands. We should probably go wash our hands now. People should never discount the fair and slightly imbalanced citizen journalists who make Punaweb what it is.

This is an amazing photo and indisputable proof of my theory that buggering aliens with a hankering for intergalactic sodomy are hanging out in Pu'u O'o. And what do we get from HVO? Silence. Complete silence.

I've not gonna just lie down for this. Not without a drink first. And dinner. And a card.

This is frightening though. I really don't like guys who are missing their noses. Personal quirk of mine.

Boys, can we keep this G rated please? I get the humor but you are headed over the top.

It is all just fog... its the way lights reflect of those little water drops.... nothing more...

It may be just me... but look at the Jan 13 photo on this link:
http://hvo.wr.usgs.gov/kilauea/update/images.html

and Glenns' photo of the 2 symmetrical lights.... maybe the creature has just moved from the summit down to Pu'u O'o
