Almond Ginger Martini at Hilo Bay Cafe
#1
I told Matt, the bartender who "created" this drink to test for the menu, that I was going write about this....if you like a drink that's not too sweet, try this one!

Made with: "A hand-crafted infusion of superior VSOP Cognac and baby ginger, Domaine de Canton is the world's first premium ginger liqueur..." http://www.liquorsnob.com/archives/2007/...review.php

Cheers!

Where's the recipe for the almond-ginger martini? Didn't find it in the link.

Sorry, Glen...Matt told me his recipe last night, but I don't remember it exactly. It was something he was just trying out.

His main ingredients: Grey Goose vodka, the Domaine de Canton French Ginger Liqueur, Orgeat syrup...and a couple of other things (lemon or lime juice? I think he said one or the other--I'm not positive on that and he might have used a bit of sugar? Garnish was a lemon peel twist)

If you try it, let me know what combination works out for you! If I get back there soon, I'll try to get a more specific recipe...
