#1
Just received this press release
"Aloha,
After a visit to the PISCES/NASA In-Situ Resource Utilization (ISRU) Development and Field Testing site near Hale Pohaku on Mauna Kea, a web page has been created (http://astroday.net/MKrovers.html) with information, pictures and video (video to be released Thursday, November 13).

Also, note that all three rovers will be down in Hilo at the 'Imiloa Astronomy Center on Saturday, November 15 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Special demonstrations of the rovers will be performed from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. We hope you can stop by and see these amazing rovers, and bring your kids! It'll be a great opportunity for them to see direct application of robotics that is (will be) out of this world.

A few of us have been invited to this. I'll be up there along with Dave Corrigan from Big Island Video News.

Pictures posted here.

If you get a chance to go to this on Saturday... do so!

They are expecting to put 4 men on the moon in the year 2010!

2010? They'd better hurry up! No, the current plan is 2020, but 2030 is perhaps more realistic.

That was a simple error!

Time is flying fast... but not that fast!

2020 was the date they told me.[^]
