These prices are not a problem if you aren't selling. A great opportunity for buyers.
Just wait till they halve again. 8K per lot maybe.

Wow lots in HPP going for under $30K now! I remember when certain people in a certain profession on this board said it could never happen. My my my how times have changed.

Looking at asking prices on current listings, it appears that those properties closer to the ocean are holding up a little better.

They will go lower, we've just started the downward slope. Considering how much the mainland economy is tanking, we could see numbers lower than they were just after sugar left.

Still looking for the $12K and under lot. Got a little extra cash burning a hole in my pocket.

That's the 2000 price, I bought mine for $10K back then and it was a good deal! Prices even in the $30Ks are three times as much as they were 8 years ago. You figure out the ROI. [

At these prices, a person could actually buy land for commercial farming. That's not a bad thing.
We're keeping an eye on Oahu land prices. We'll come into some money soon and would not mind picking up something there. The West side is getting cheap, but the lush east side is still a bit costly.
John, when do you think we'll hit the bottom?
