Fraudulent Charges from Paul's Repair???
#1
Has anyone had any fraudulent charges on their debit/credit cards from Paul's Auto Repair? I have had 2 different instances of false charges now on two separate accounts and have not gone to Paul's in years. WTH??? I can only think that someone is copying cc numbers down and using them to pay Paul's? I don't believe it is Paul's, but I'd like to know if anyone else has noticed this...

Do you go to the orange gas station...aka The Woodland Center? I believe they are owned by Paul's Repair.

Friends beware of any auto shops it this area. I remember a post from someone else here on this form about a local shop performing work without proper state licensing and numerous other infractions. Someone also told me there was a shooting at a local shop - I don't know which one though. I heard another one was using the business to cover drug trafficing and supposedly one of their employees hung himself.

It didn't happen at Paul's to me, but C&C where I rarely use my card.

Charges were reversed with intervention of CC Company.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Pauls Auto Repair Shop and the Gas Station.

I don't think Paul would know how to rip someone off... Honestly!

I belive some folks should be a little more cautious with their posts, this whole region has just been accused of cc fraud, no license, shootings, drug dealers and suicides, and that is "any" business in the area in iboost's eyes, and now the words out because we've all heard it on the internet and we know it's true.
It's hard enough for a person to make a living in Puna without getting sniped at from a website. Plus a lot of mechanics are unlicensed and do a fine job fairly. Drugs, shootings and suicides can happen anywhere, you benefit no one with this "I heard" crap.
Like with KC, talk to em and they might remedy it, if not, then you post here.
I have "check ID" beside a small signature on my card as a reminder.

Paul was the "Grand Marshall" of the Pahoa Parade two weeks ago.

I snapped this picture of him when I was judging the parade.[Wink]
