According to the Dept. of Consumer Affairs Peck Homes Inc. and Lawrence P. Peck (Hilo) (CLB2007-286-L); voluntarily surrendered their licenses to avoid a disciplinary action by the DCCA.

John, was any indication given of what the infraction was? It had to be pretty serious for the license to be on the line. Several years ago when we were considering building, Peck was recommended by a friend who had a very positive experience with them.
Cheers,
Jerry

There was nothing else indicated by the DCCA, just what I posted. Interestingly, when I started building homes in Puna 10 years ago, the first GC I contacted was Peck. They never called me back, even though I called them several times because they were recommended by by someone.
To forfeit the license to avoid even a hearing suggest very serious infractions.
