Please enjoy where you live
#1
I get profoundly sad sometimes, today being one of those times, and miss Hawaii and all it is. We had reasons for coming back to Oklahoma, but I sure miss it there. I have never lived anywhere that has been so deeply etched in my heart. But, good news, in just a few short weeks, we will be back if only for a 2 week vacation.

You can extend your two weeks if you wish, just make a call to the airport! [}Smile][}Smile][}Smile] Seriously, I know how you feel. Your home is where your heart is and not necessarily where you live.

Well, I have other commitments here in Oklahoma right now, so I can't stay longer. We have mixed feelings about Hawaii, as I know you do too and probably many others do. We need to come get some "Hawaii" and explore our feelings again. Its such a pull with so much family here and us wanting to be in Hawaii...is there a pill for that?

Aloha Nancy,

The island will welcome you back for a visit. If you have time to stop in for a chat I would love to say hello.
Assume the best and ask questions.

Well you can be on the Islands in spirit by putting on your favorite Hawaiin music or videio and having some Kona coffee and what not and have your favorite souveniers displayed proudly.

BTW I have found allot of residents on the islands don't really appreciate where they live until they leave home Smile

TJ, that only works for the tourists who dream about visiting again. It doesn't work for "misplaced" souls.

I know how you feel Nancy,we chatted once when you first moved to hawaii and the pull of family was evident. But the island can get in your heart and soul and being there I think is the only cure. We are trying so hard to get back. We are trying to sell our home in florida,I am working in Maine trying to save more money and I look at pics of hawaii and punaweb all the time to at least feel connected in some way. I just hope we can come back soon to stay. Have a wonderful trip if only for two weeks and just soak it up

Hope we can see you while you are here! The Hawaii you love is in your heart and you can take it anywhere.

My heart would ache for the green and the sounds and smells. We think we feel more at home here than anywhere we've lived. I get that family pull, though Nancy. That's a hard one to beat. All your kids are havin' babies and they are growing up...hard to not wanna be there.

I have to go back to the listed topic, please enjoy where you live. I think that is a very important concept to achieving a sense of happiness and well-being. One needs to concentrate on what is good about where you are. I have to work on that myself. Enjoy your visit, soak it up, reconnect, and have a darn good time!!!

Life goes on, with you or without you.
Peace and long life
