I have recently become aware that something called PunawebFriends is sending out emails from me! Yikes. How do I get off this? I have NOT sent any emails advertising anything, etc... so if you got one, it's not me.

Any help will be appreciated. I hate these spam things.

Cool, well, I don't know know how the Yahoo groups works, but it looks like if you know the group address you can spam it and everyone in the group gets the spam...

I do my best to avoid the popular watering holes. The lions know just where to find game. For similar reasons Google is, in my mind, quite compromised as the top search positions are for sale. There is plenty of functionality and data available without making a victim of one's self. I was kinda of "forced" to get a Yahoo address to deal with the PCDP. Tons of spam followed. Here on Punaweb we had to add a Captcha program to separate robotic spams from human users. It is a shame really.

I generally dump the preloaded bookmarks from a new computer. I don't much like being herded.

Google's mail spam filter is word class... Google want you to get their spam, no one elses [Wink]

All my non work email is taken care of Google, and I get very little spam.
