Is there a planned completion date for BK, KFC, and Longs. I'm gathering that whoever put in for the project... would give some estimation time for completion.

Completion was suppose to be "sometime" this year.

It was suppose to have started a month ago...Maybe they lost their fianancing being we're in a recession and all.
Although I did get my hair cut at Supercuts in Pahoa last Friday and the girl cutting my hair said she also had cut Jon McElvaney's hair (project manager) early last week and he had said to her that it was still in the bidding process. And you know what they say....."Only your hairdresser knows for sure"[ ]

Seems a pity for Pahoa to become "generic". Not to mention the health risks of fast food.

Burger King going into Pahoa and next to HD in Hilo?
Aren't we in a recession? or this is BK's recession strategy? I don't get it (no truly - can someone explain this.)
