Let me just say being up in the peak around twenty five off the ground of our new place was not the place I would of picked to experience my first earthquake, didn't know whether to get down on my own or hold on for the ride then it was over but now I'm super sensitive and I think i've at least felt many several little shakers and still feel them as I am writing this.

Did you make it back to the green side in time for the fun Andrew?
We felt it in N.Hilo and I thought it was a 5.0 and it was close. As usual the dog and cat sensed it about 1 second before I heard the rumble and felt the shaking, seemed to shake from East to West. Just a few things fell, nothing broke, but I did see my Armiore rocking and heard all of the china in it rattling.

It's funny...I was census taking, walking Ainako Ave and did not feel a thing. Only reason I knew anything happened was because one of the residents told me...said that's why his dogs were barking. I laughed, told him I thought they were barking at me. One man was painting a house on scaffolding...asked him if he'd felt it and he said he wasn't sure his scaffolding was gonna hold up!

Guess you've gotta be stationary to feel it. Walking, like riding in a vehicle, it just wen right by me!
