can sheep and pineapple coexist?

Not my intent, simply humor. In spite of growing up in Idaho I know nothing of sheep. I unquestionably tend to be boorish at times and apologies for that when it needlessly steps on toes.

Apology accepted and sense of humor noted. I still can't figure out which Simpson's episode you were referencing though. And in spite of growing up in Indiana I don't know anything about field corn, soybeans, or hawgs, although I did spend a couple of summers detasseling corn, which is a horrible hot scratchy job necessary to grow seed corn only done by middle schoolers who can't get any other jobs legally.

So how did an Idaho boy turn into a deep water ocean sailor and boat builder?

A friend of my parents built a sailboat in his basement in thoroughly landlocked Indiana, it took years of weekends and nights. When he finished and went to take it out he found that he had miscalculated the distances and couldn't get it out the garage door and up the incline to the driveway. He had to raise the house 8 inches to give the boat the needed clearance, his wife took the kids to visit her parents while the house was being lifted and never came back, but she took the boat in the divorce and according to my Dad burned it, and according to my Mom sold it. He and wife number two built another boat, sailed it down the Mississippi River and around the world twice.
