What the Heck happened to PUNA WEB?

It seems to me that Puna web has taken a turn for the worse...every where I look on puna web their is either someone ranting and raving or Baiting or just plain mean, I will be the first to admit that their has been times that some one has pushed just the right button with me a time or two, But really.

Seems to me that alot of people are getting bent on Rob Tucker It is his web site and his rules. (my personal opinion) is that Rob should police himself as much as he polices every one else...But thats just my opinion...and will gladly obey the rules of engagement in this forum.
so I am very happy with puna web.[8D]

But it seems to me as the economy gets worse and more people like myself move here....The nastier and meaner people get..

I miss being able to throw my two cents worth in here and their, but what used to be a good read, study, and information exchange has turned into a petty bitch fest, which I want no part of..

Can't we all just get along[]

Maybe if we all just sit back take a deep breath have a drink if you must or smoke a bowl I dont care, But please lets keep the Hate out of PUNA period....

We do seem to have entered an era with more contention than we used to have. I think it is on purpose and it takes up too much of my time.

I am considering a potential solution and will post a topic on it soon.

I am not so sure this is limited to Punaweb. Our Punaweb blossomed during the Economic "boom". We are now in an economic bust and the negativism has captured many a heart and soul. People want to complain and this is a relatively anonymous place to do so. Sad, really, because Punaweb has given birth to a most incredible community both online and offline.
Rob is stuck in a horrible position for which there is probably no truly right answer. He has done an incredible job holding it together so far. It is a shame that there are those who have found us who are more interested in serving their own need to provoke others than to share good spirit we have had here. I hope we don't lose it.

I think things have been been much more civil, trolish behavior less and a noteworthy civility these last few weeks after a spike of hostility a while back.

All in all a great bunch of folks hang out in these parts, great way to kill many a rainy afternoon

What some view as caustic, others may view as informative. I enjoy this forum for the variety of topics and, by far, the active participation of a broad cross section of people. There are so many topics covered here that attract the interest, and emotions, of so many people, what we get is a forum that isn't vanilla. While I wouldn't condone slander, having a place to voice your honest opinion is a treasure.
