taxi service to Hilo

Taxi is not hard to find but cost could be ridiculous.
Hele On transit site has a page on shared ride coupons. You don't need to be sharing just willing to do so. They can be purchased in Hilo or by mail I think.

I have read that Jack's tours will do car service, but don't know the details.

Easy to find taxi if money no object, just run search for Hilo cab. There are several. Not all work with the shared ride program.

There is the HeleOn bus service, and there are a lot of Hilo based taxis... there was one service based in Pahoa, but I cannot find out anything, so they may not be (Mr K's is based in Shipman Industrial, the closest I found with Google....)
