VOG
#1
We drove up north today and the vog was thick all the way up to O'okala and visible at the Waipio valley too. When we came back over saddle road the visibility where you crest the hill and can see down into Hilo was less than 1/3 the usual distance. When we got home I could even smell the VOG. I'm ready for some trade winds!

Ditto!!! I'm going either to Kau or Hapuna tomorrow in search of fresh air. [8D] Glad to see someone who isn't in denial about how bad the vog is here.

Been like that up here last couple of days. Thankfully, not the worst we've had, but still visible.

Add in the humidity and we've been melting for the past several days. Gray nasty hot humid. Urrgh! We went to Kapoho and around to Kalapana/Pahoa road and it was gray all over the place. There was a huge plume rising over by Royal Gardens.
