Yes, he is the the weirdest thing since Pee Wee Herman.... but I wanna go see the movie this week. Anyone else want to make a day time trek to Prince Kuhio Theaters for THIS IS IT???

I want to be the kind of woman that, when my feet
hit the floor each morning, the devil says

"Oh Crap, She's up!"

Hey Pam - If you wanna go next Friday, I'll meet you in town. I loved Michael Jackson and don't care if someone else has a desire to be at Burning Man or not! [Wink] That would be Friday the 6th - next FURLOUGH DAY.[B)]

I was never what you would call a fan by any means, but I went with a friend who wanted to go this afternoon, and thought the film was great.

If you can't find someone to go with, just plain go by yourSelf. It's well worth it. If nothing else, it's really quite an eye-opener in regards to all the behind-the-scenes stuff involved in a show like that, and into what a bloody perfectionist he was.

Quite an extravaganza ...and the music was far better than I remember!

I'd rather see Pee Wee Herman set his own hair on fire! - Sorry, just thought it was funny. Hope you enjoy the show.
Enjoy the day! Ann

No offense taken; I knew most of you would bash me for asking. I think Furlough Friday is a good idea. I will stand tall while you bash me. I am interested in what the film has to offer. Let's face it, I didn't want to date him but I would love to see some good production information on the music industry in general and listen to Michael sing in particular.

No bashing intended Pam. It should be an interesting film and I hope you have a good time.

I've just had about all the MJ I can handle.

Pam - I applaud your bringing forward a "Michael Jackson" post.

I do not/did not like his ethics/morals - But DAMN he could dance.

There where a few men who defined their era of dance expression - Fred Astaire - Gene Kelly - Bob Fosse - and yes, Michael Jackson.

I will not make it on Friday but I will see the film. If PeeWee Herman shows up - he'll probably have the "BIG" tub of popcorn!
