SCUBA SUNDAY
#1
JAN 3 is Scuba Sunday. Who is participating? BBQ/pot luck of course. You all know the drill by now, but still..

10 AM
Richardson's Beach Park
Swim, Snorkel, Boogie Board, Kayak AND DIVING. Seems we aren't seeing much diving these days. Where are all the divers. This is my personal plea for you to start coming. I am anxious to get back in the water but will not be so independent as I have been until I have strength. It is better though so I will be snorkeling at least....

See you there.

Conditions permitting, I am planning to DIVE!

Dan

P.S. Am looking to Buddy-up, as I have only been outside Richardson's once, found the "channel" a bit difficult to locate and found it a bit shallow. Low tide is 11 am. If I am solo will probably try Pui Bay.

After a hard day of labor Bob and I are BEAT. At least we could do it~ this is a good thing.

However, with so little response, we will be staying home for Sunday and finishing up some chores here. Anyone bored is welcome to come over and provide free labor.... yeah, right!

Enjoy the beach. We will be back on track soon.

I'll be there with the pop-up, extra tables, and some chairs. Jim and Carey may not make it until late due to a tough work schedule that Carey set for Jim. So bring a few paper plates, napkins, and forks and will get by! Hopefully we'll see their smiling faces before we wrap things up??!! It may be a day to keep it simple. Maybe just drinks, chips and dip or cookies. I don't think a BBQ will be there.

See ya!

So how was it? We ended up having to drive to Kona for an emergency shop. Go figure... Smile

It was a spectacular perfect day at Richardson's. Eventually there were 17 of us, so I guess you can't go by the response here, eh? ;-)

Perfect weather... plenty of food... swimming & snorkeling... lots of sparkling conversation... and whales for those who stayed later!! Quite a 'Northern contingent' showed up with Laura & Aki & family from Canada, our kids visiting from Alaska, and some other friends we brought who are also visiting from another part of Alaska.

A great time was had by all! Sorry y'all missed it - maybe next time...
