who cares if a topic has already been posted on this site and discussed before?? everyone has the right to post what they want to as long as it ties in to hawaii, as this did(although kinda long rant)the council buffoons and their anti-pot supporters continue to bury their collective heads in the sand ignoring the will of the people, i still believe one day we will see a change in the law.

I have to agree about inserting white spaces. Rasman may have some good points, but my aging eyes simply can't handle huge blocks of unformatted text like that.

OK, if there are white spaces they still may not make it to the end but less likely they will give up right out of the gate.

Assume the best and ask questions.

Oh boy.. lets talk about weed some more. [8D]

It's OK for all you drunks to have your "few Beers" and drive down the road and run into people things etc.. But heaven forbid some guy sit at home on his couch and smoke a freakin joint. Oh Oh well "thats illegal"" and and we "don't wanna talk about it anymore" I'm Ok with no weed if your OK with NO BOOS!!!! Weed, PROVEN FACT, is not physically addictive. Can you put down your beer??? These fat as drunk politician that run this country are the biggest bunch of hypocrites and thieves on the planet.

I've said this before, here, as a certified EMT and active EMS I STILL have never stuck my head in a mangled blood covered vehicle and smelled weed, are for that matter found weed in the ash trey etc.. and yes we look. Countless countless times I've had the misfortune of dealing with a drunk at the scene of a Car Murder.. "I didn't realize I was that drunk" "I only had a few beers" here's a good one as he stared at a ladies body being covered up "I didn't do that" and then there's this guy "well I was the least drunk of all of us"

Yeah until they take parking lots away from bars we're gonna talk about it again and again.. If someone doesn't wanna then they don't have to click on the thread.. As long as beer and liquor is legal we're gonna talk about it.

This topic is the perfect example of the power of lobbyists and the corruption and hypocrisy of our gov. by big business.. And no I don't smoke anymore and the day I stopped was just like any other, no DDTs, no shakes, well no appetite for a couple of days but hey..

Edit for KScott: It's you that doesn't remember how cool Pahoa was before ICE. Wouldn't that be the drug to spend millions on eradicating?? as opposed to a harmless weed?

Marijuana has been so genetically altered that I am really surprised to hear some people still claiming it to be a "natural drug". The genetics have all revolved around making it more potent, for a more potent high, not to make it more medicinal. The people that try to make it legal always try and compare it to other drugs. If it so great, let it stand on its' own merits.

That's cool lets let whiskey and beer stand on their merits as well...

when all else fails use an ad hominem attack. are you really serious? is that what a good response is to someone presenting information, maybe rasman is an old dude that doesnt know alot about typing? i mean you run this old snitz software for people on dial up and are tolerant of that. maybe rasman has a REALLY OLD LAPTOP and is on dial and is like 70 years old and loves to smoke joints?

you guys love to talk all about content of the posts etc etc. yet... read these 2 below and well that NOTHING BUT ad hominem

808,
I'm very serious. Anyone can and should learn to hit the RETURN key when using a message board. Look, I am capable of writing epic posts, and have. Long ago when I first started using a forum, a friend told me I needed more paragraph breaks writing on the web than in print, for visual separation.

I took the lesson to heart and am passing it on. Press EDIT and insert paragraph breaks. Voila.
If people don't put in visual breaks, I don't read the post. Their choice.

well then i guess thats a valid filter and reason for now reading what someone posted. IMHO thats silly and petty.

It's not petty. It's about the eye to brain signal. Good grief, how can someone who titles himself a writer not understand the importance of formatting? Did you go to college? Did you ever turn in a term paper or essay without paragraphs and not hear about it? In my case I have graded and critiqued literally thousands of papers and assignments at one of the top universities in the world, so yes I have opinions on what is readable ... and am offering for free what I learned during the course of long and expensive training.
