Big Islanders overwhelmingly voted for Dr. Ron Paul to represent us as the Rep nominee for the Presidency 2012! We demand Peace, Liberty, and Truth. We demand someone uncorruptible. The only candidate befitting of that description is Dr. Ron Paul.

After all, We the People, will be the ones promoting this uncorruptible candidate, NOT the banksters and corporations.

"We demand"! "Donate"! "banksters"
All very interesting use of language.

Why the money drive, he's given up campaigning. Is it to pay off his debts? Wait, let me get my checkbook.

Funny thing is Ron Paul is the only presidential candidate in recent history who's campaign has never been in debt. Says a lot about the way you would run the country, the way you run your campaign. He also refused secret service protection from the tax payers. I believe the money is to continue the delegate fight, because he has not dropped out. What he said was, I don't have enough money to spend on ads in a straw poll beauty contest, so I am not going to spend any. What a concept!

I checked here (at the dreaded "mainstream media") :
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/201...t-not-out/
and indeed, he is not running his campaign on debt. That is admirable.

The article also says, interestingly (in regard to Ron Paul fanatics shouting down anyone they disagree with):
“The fact is that all of this fighting makes Ron Paul nervous,” senior Paul adviser Doug Wead writes on his blog tonight. “Shouting people down is not Ron Paul’s way.”
Campaign sources said that the bigger fear is that hostilities will affect Paul’s son, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, who is widely expected to seek the Republican presidential nomination in 2016.

Didn't someone here say recently:
"Thus, it's pure speculation intended to distort the issues. This is NOT about Rand."

Seems it is about Rand, i.e. Ron Paul is doing what is best for his son. How novel.
No need to get the best man for the job when you have a son.

We are not exactly pleased with Jesse Benton who said that. He does have significant allegiance to Rand(won his senate campaign for him), and truth is Rand does appeal to the neo-cons more then Ron. None of this will matter if our worlds economy is in the ****ter come 2016. So the Liberty grass roots is going on a slightly different tack then the official campaign. We could give a **** about the neo-cons, same big government socialists as the Democrats, we will destroy the GOP if we have to, and we will. The neo-cons can team up with the Dems for their big government agenda, because we are actually serious about the Constitution and conservatism and we are the future. Ron is pulling an Obi-wan right now and its time for the grassroots to take over, lucky for us we are ready to destroy to empire. There will be much drama ahead, stay tuned, your world view will be turned upside down along with the MSM.

"we will destroy the GOP if we have to, and we will"

Honesty, good! Now who was saying something here about Ron Paul would never be ejected from the GOP? They should do so immediately.

You can huff and puff all you want, but in a democracy if you have the overwhelming majority against you you're not going to get very far. And yes, this is a democracy. Or are you hinting at an armed uprising?

Not sure about the Obi-wan reference, you mean he's sacrificing himself?

Democracy when the President has sole power to wage war without Congressional approval, when he can order indefinite detention of any US citizen without trial, without legal representation and secretly dispose of them however he wishes? LOL! Sounds like someone is severely in need of a reality check!

"MIT professor Noam Chomsky on Monday decried the use of drones against suspected terrorists, saying that it was murder and violated due process. “If Bush, the Bush Administration, didn’t like somebody, they’d kidnap them and send them to torture chambers,” he said on Democracy Now. “If the Obama Administration decides they don’t like somebody, they murder them, so you don’t have to have torture chambers all over.”

Thats because democracy is not a stable form of government. Someone has to take control, the environment is ripe for corruption. I heard somewhere that Democracy is a bunch of individual idiots who think they wont be idiots in a group.
