Punaweb has been such a great source of local info; I'm back for more.
The other morning I woke with a noticeable red patch in the corner of my left eye. Looks like a blood vessel(s) have burst. The eye is somewhat light sensitive - it really wasn't before - but vision is still clear.
Freaks me out and I'd like to have an optometrist take a look. I've never visited one before and hope you guys can recommend someone.
Thanks in advance,
Mike in HPP

For glasses I've been using Zenni Optical -
www.zennioptical.com . I just placed an order for glasses, with shipping it was $21 (I go cheap but they have fancier ones for $40 - $60) and I had them in about 10 days. I've used them for a number of years so it's not just a "fly by night to good to be true" type of deal.

My thanks to you all, I'll call Dr. Camblor's office on Monday to set up an appointment. I really appreciate the generosity of Punaweb participants.

I'm no doctor and I don't even play one on TV. But I know someone who has had a scleral hematoma (spelled) a few times now and it was nothing to worry about.
But for some people it can be an indicator for stroke or other health problems.
