The January 1964 issue of "Hawaii Farm Science" starts with the article "A survey of Citrus Quality in Hawaii" and mentions the Kusaie lime. A few other mentions make it sound like an interesting variety: a form of the Rangpur (Kona) lime, but yellow rather than orange, juicy, highly or mildly acid, reproduces true from seed (polyembryonic), and productive with fruit 9-10 months/year. Does anyone have or know of a source for the Kusaie lime. Since it is also reported to make thickets from root sprouts, I would like to get budwood and graft it onto something else, but seeds would be better than nothing.
