yellowjackets - best bait

Anyone have good experience with a specific bait (or baits) for the yellowjacket population here in hpp/puna?

The traps that I had built/baited last year didn't really work all that well; I think the design was good, but the menu option wasn't. I'm trying to improve on my percentages this year.

Aloha Rainshadow,,

Yellowjackets LOVE protein. Fish/chicken seem to be their favorites. If you want to attract them without a pheremone based bait wick, that should work for you.
