HPP "dust/road paving survey"
#1
I received two surveys, but I have three lots. I was thinking about just using one of the forms and list all my TMKs on it. Is that a good idea?

...and so my wife did. Here's the response (not verbatim):

Talked to phone # @ HPP. They are only tallying by what is received back. They have a huge number that come back as undeliverable. The issue is "Love your dirt road or not." The board is not out to increase any fees. They want to determine what property owner want--paved or dirt roads.

They want just a yes or no. Question # 10 asks for number of lots own. She's not sure why we didn't receive the 3rd.

-----------------

I just want to make sure my vote(s) get(s) counted. Guess I'll just list the TMKs and hope for the best.

Hey since they aren't out to increase any fee's you might as well check the pave boxes! Smile

On this subject, since we are moving to Hawaii from Iowa where we live on a gravel road, is a dust control application an option like it is here.[?]

We use tree sap so it is enviromentally ok and works.

Just wondering, because we have not made up our mind 100% about where we will eventually end up, HPP is on the list.[Wink]

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

Well, I sent the survey in and listed my properties.
I made sure to check the box that said "Want roads paved, but get someone else to pay for it"
Under comments, I suggested make Kaloli Pt. area a gated community.

Seriously, I did send it in, maybe it'll make a difference, I hope.

Even joking about gating roads will divide the Comunity . The idea is to unite it against those that want to bleed us dry

I do believe there are some very nice "GATED COMMUNITIES" on the Kona side...

But difference is that the roads on point are owned and paid for by the 8800
