Black Pepper Vine
#1
Has anyone had any success growing Black Pepper Vine? It says that if the temperature goes below 65 degrees it drops all its leaves and that concerns me since we do go below that temperature a lot during the winter and spring months. We live close to the ocean in HPP. Any suggestions for successfully growing it outdoors?

I have one I got from a friend in Orchidland. It did really well there, doesn't like it up here in Hawaiian Acres.
I would guess your low location would be good for it.

Have you checked out agroforestry.net? That's usually the first place I go for my tropical fruit questions. They have a lot of publications for growing specialty crops in Hawaii, including black pepper.
