fruit thief
#1
I am really disgusted. I checked my guava tree this morning, and EVERY SINGLE guava was gone. 2 days ago, there were a dozen or more green guavas, now there's not even a shred on the tree or ground below.

It's not visible from or even near the road; it's about 100 feet inside my lower property line. My husband had just weed-whacked the area, so it was clearly cultivated, not wild.

You'd think with all the waivi growing wild, the greedy jerk could leave my fruit alone. They even picked them green so they could get them before I did. %*#&*@!!!!

Did you report the theft? Seems like a job for our local keystone cops

Lee, We do not live in th same area, but yesterday when I went to harvest our orange trees and all but one grounded ripe fruit from our trees & our neighbors were not there.... EXCEPT for the grapefruit we have.... luckily it still has its' ruby blushed orbs of citrus!

since they were not loaded with ripe fruit, I just thought it was weird. Then 2 other neighbors mentioned this morning that they noticed the lack of ripe fruit in their yards also....

One fun note is that they stripped our neighbors rangpur.... if they have no idea WHAT they got, they may be in for a world of surprise on the first bite!

So now it's an island wide conspiracy!

Rainy is sure to go there! Not a conspiracy, but a coincidence...I just would love to see the faces when they bite into the rangpur fruit! (a few of the old timers at SCUBA Sunday remember those faces....esp. when the tourist tried them!)

Carey, I LOVED the rangpur you gave me. I juiced them and made a yummy citrus-aide. Smile

PS All three acres of our guava is intact. lol

Dayna, as you know, I love them too....but the fruit pickers passed on the grapefruit we both love, so I think they are in for a REALLY big surprise if they think that the rangpur is one of our "we bought the house because of these" oranges & they chomp & their lips pucker to eye popping RANGPUR juice!

As long as we're talking about rangpurs, does anyone know where to get a tree?
