Electrician Referrals - Small Kine

I'm looking for an electrician - or electrical knowledgeable - to do some small jobs around my home. Mostly to wire and hang pendants lights, install and wire ceiling fans and add some electrical outlets to a wall and kitchen island.

If anyone knows of someone reasonably priced and appropriately knowledgeable - and is willing to refer same I would appreciate it.

Based on experience here, also make sure that the electrician is RELIABLE...

Doesn't matter much if the electrician does not show up most of the time....only putting this out there based on working with one very highly recommended electrician with a very un-reliable assistant.... being billed for time the assistant was not working was not a great thing...true it was rectified, but only after having to deal with hassles...something we would rather not do in the first place....

Hello Carey, I wonder if my current situation is akin to your experience and if the parties are the same. I also am dealing with a highly recommended electrician who referred me to an assistant - and the assistant is the reason I am looking for someone else.

It very well could be, but I have heard of more than one licensed electrician here that hires & does not supervise an un-reliable assistant...they may not THINK that it is THEIR job, but when you hire a licensed electrician, I think that you should not have to supervise their assistants.. nor should you have to deal with ANY of the issues that the assistant has...that IS the bosses job...
