Bought a cheap Stansport Cast Iron Stove (single burner) think it cost around 30 bucks.
Even with a brand new field up propane tank, turning the valve from high to low doesn't really do much. It just goes from kinda medium to low and off now.
It doesn't go HIGH FLAMES like it use too. Water will boil but takes twice a long.
Anyone know how to fix this? Is the problem at the valve? There are two philips screws holding the valve into the burner.
What's the best way to fix one of these? I figure someone here might now how to make these last a little longer. I looked on youtube but found no help on how to clean one of these things.

What do you mean ? Problem at the valve. Make shure there is no dirt by the air ajustment, Propane needs correct air to burn.

The tubing from the valve to the burner may be obstructed or the burner as well. A spider or some such dust bunny may be involved. Check them out and clean them before you replace a valve. Lots of parts for lots of things on the internet.
Assume the best and ask questions.

spider or obstruction in the metering jet - common if it hasnt been used for a while - look for a small brass orifice

what do I mean? well, you turn the valve all the way up and it's still on low... We use it everyday so no... No spiders. But thanks, Most on youtube is about propane grills (tho maybe I'm not using the correct terminology for search).. Nothing really about camp stove burners. But yeah, that was my next step... Take it all apart and see if any dirt is blocking something but yeah I'll tap around the entire valve first.
Thanks for the replies...

A friend gave me a similar 2-burner stove. I took it apart and cleaned it up and now I have the opposite problem. The slightest touch of the valve sends the flame sky high.
Anyway the valve is put together with some grease. It is possible that a blob of grease is obstructing the small port in the valve. I recommend taking the valve apart and cleaning the parts carefully being careful to clean anything out of the small orifices, then reassemble with a small amount of grease on the parts.
It is the part of the valve with the lever that you turn that has the small hole in it. There is a small nut on the end opposite the lever. Usually the lever is at the top so the nut may be out of sight on the underside. Turn the stove over to get a better look.

maybe it's the brand new tank.. last time I bought a new tank it had something in it that had to be emptied before putting propane in it.. it said so on the label.. I didn't and the first round of propane burnt poorly.
