propane installation
#1
In HSRE subdivision, considering propane to replace electrical hot water, dryer, range that were included with home when purchased. Any pro/con comments would be appreciated. Also who/business do you all recommend for the installation - not interested in DYI -and assume permit is required? Thanks. Always appreciate PW's input.

Can call Keith at Hawaii Gas at 961-2772. I donno if his company is a monopoly that was the only one that could tell me this but I asked him how come the gas tank that came with my property was disconnected. he asked for my address and said the previous owner sold the gas in the tank back to the gas company and i would have to buy the gas to reactivate. There gas clothes dryer, stove and water heater that came came with the house that I'm trying to sell off but keep the Serval frig. Also since I already had the gas tank I decided to buy a propane generator. there's a limited selection online only I got one on HD.com that only had 1 110v outlet. Walmart might have had one cheaper though.

I donno how it works yet but if the house came with electric appliances and no gas tank i would have got more conventional generator by default.
