10/30: Burglary on 24th between Shower & Kaloli
#1
Aloha all. Longtime reader, first-time poster here. Just heard from my neighbors that their home was broken into today (10/30) during the day around noon. We live on 24th between Shower and Kaloli. The burglars got in through a closed (but not locked) window in the back of the house. The owner thinks he interrupted them when he came home: one of his speakers had been moved, as if they were going to take it. They were on foot, evidently--no car in sight. They took cash, a Wii, a laptop, and other small things that could fit in backpacks.

Please take precautions and tell your neighbors, too.

thank you, I'm trying to encourage a forum (on PunaWeb) to report Puna crimes.

And I third it!!!! Mahalo for posting .

This is what I sent out to my neighborhood watch today.

3 break ins on 5th st. Pahoa side off Makuu.

My girlfriend's grandson's house was broken into. Entry thru a closed jalousie window. Quite a bit stolen, including his surf boards. Neighbors reported seeing a black pick up truck parked on the adjacent lot.

You know, we could all get pretty good at this! and what a deterrent it is to "would be "burglars for this info to be passed out immediately.
