Hello Punaweb
#1
You have a great community here and hopefully my wife and I will be joining you within the year.

We have lived all over and we are currently in Alaska. We have been looking for ways we could make it work in Hawaii and it looks like things are finally coming together. I had interviews this week for a job in Hilo, as well as an airline job in Oahu. Both were first round, but I think they went fairly well.

My wife's parents have already been living in Puna for some time now. We have a little one that would love to be able to see her grammy and grampy everyday and we look forward to raising our children with family near by.

I am an engineer now, but I worked as an aircraft mechanic before that. I am also a pilot and I look forward to swimming and enjoying the great outdoors. My wife is a stay at home mom and will be home schooling our little ones. She is really looking forward to living near her parents and soaking in the warm pond.

The building forum has been a great source of information. We are closing on some land next week and we hope to build our own home.

Can't wait to meet you all and live aloha instead of just visiting.

Thanks HB! Your name indicates you're on your way as well. Have you made the move or still en route?
