Any of you punatics ride an enduro motercycle? Thinking about bringing my husky TE 510. Any stories good or bad ? Any shipping nightmares?how bout service, maintenance. It's street legal also a real off-road ripper. Are there legal places to off-road.I'm diligent about not destroying the environment, upsetting neighbours, trespassing etc.Maybe lava fields are to much of challenge ,especially if wet I bet.I appreciate any feedback.

There's an ATV/off road track off Stainback Hwy mauka of N. Kulani Rd, but it's not very extensive.
There's also Mana Rd which skirts around Mauna Kea through Hamakua mauka.
Beach Rd between HPP and Hawaiian Beaches is another nice ride.

25 years ago we had all the former Puna Sugar Co. roads, but they've mostly been sold or leased and gated.

There are off road riders here. If you do Facebook, go to Kiser Motorcycles facebook and you should see about an upcoming ride by the Rock Island Riders. It's the Mauna Kea 400. It's for street legal dual sport bikes.
